Longevity exercise coaching in Canning Garden

Premium, physiotherapist-led training, delivered to your door in Canning Garden.

Why Canning Garden

Canning Garden is a mature, leafy Ipoh estate of single-storey homes and semi-Ds on its circular roads, with many long-time and retired residents.

Canning Garden is quiet and mature, with many residents who have been here since they bought their first home and are now well into retirement. Single-storey homes help, but the risks of ageing still show up: slower walking, less confidence crossing the road, a fall in the bathroom. Our work here is mostly with retirees and their families, keeping legs strong and balance sharp so independence lasts.

D.R. Seenivasagam Park is Canning Garden's backyard for morning walks and tai chi, and the Polo Ground on Jalan Tambun is close by. We build on that routine with strength and balance work at home, so the park walks stay safe for years to come.

We know Canning Garden, from D.R. Seenivasagam Park to Jalan Keliling, and build training around your real life here.

Your first home visit in Canning Garden

  1. Message us on WhatsApp. Tell us who the training is for, your goals and any health conditions. We confirm whether your part of Canning Garden fits our schedule and explain cost before you commit.
  2. Baseline assessment at home. A physiotherapist tests your strength, aerobic fitness, balance and mobility, plus a look at your space and routine, so the plan starts from your real starting point.
  3. A plan dosed to you. Coached sessions in your home or condo gym, with short homework for the days in between. Conditions are worked around alongside your doctor's advice, never against it.
  4. Re-test every 12 weeks. The same tests again, so you and your family can see what has improved and what we adjust next.

Want a head start? Try the chair-stand test or the fall-risk check, then read how our method works.

Google reviews of Kinesio Rehab, the Putra Heights clinic where Thurairaj (Raj) and his team train clients, and our in-centre base.

“Mr. Raj was very patient with me, a 66 year old lady with osteoporosis. Help me to realize my potential to build strength. Would definitely recommend him anytime. Meanwhile am still training under him.”

“I've been working with Raj every few weeks for the last 2 months to help design a weights program with me. I'm a reasonably fit 40yo and he's helped create a 45min program and ensured I'm doing the reps in the right way. Easy to work with and very knowledgeable. Highly recommend.”

“Working with my trainer at Kinesio Rehab has been a game-changer for my fitness journey... a totally new experience with PT for me! She doesn't just put me through a workout; she takes a holistic approach by helping with form, consistency and building confidence in the gym.”

“Brought mum for her standing posture and shoulder alignment issues. There was improvement after the first session itself for posture. After 4 sessions, standing posture and shoulder has improved so so much.”

When pain or injury gets in the way

Longevity training starts from where your body is today. If pain, an old injury or a recent operation is holding you back, Raj is a physiotherapist first: we treat and rebuild, then progress you into strength and fitness work. Exercise with pain, injury or limited mobility

“Mr. Raj is a very professional, knowledgeable, and caring physiotherapist. He took the time to understand my condition, explained the treatment clearly, and provided excellent care throughout my sessions. I noticed significant improvement in my pain and mobility after the treatment.”

FAQs: Canning Garden

My mother walks at D.R. Seenivasagam Park daily. Why would she need more?

Daily walking is excellent for her heart and mood, so keep it. What walking doesn't build is the leg and hip strength that protects against falls, or the balance needed for uneven paths and kerbs. Two short home sessions a week fill that gap.

What languages are the Ipoh sessions in?

English and Bahasa Malaysia for now. If your parent is more comfortable in another language, tell us on WhatsApp and a family member is welcome to join the first sessions to help.

How do home visits in Canning Garden work?

We come to your home or condo in Canning Garden, bring compact equipment, and run the session in your own space at a time that fits your week. In Ipoh we offer home visits now, and an Ipoh centre is coming soon.

What does it cost?

We price by programme rather than a fixed menu. Message us on WhatsApp with your goals and we'll be clear about cost before you commit.
